Vicky Amador

Vicky Amador grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas where she attended Richland High School in Birdville ISD. While at Richland High School, she was a two-year All-State musician on oboe and English horn. Mrs. Amador holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University where she was a member of the TCU Wind Symphony, TCU Symphony Orchestra, and the Horned Frog Marching Band. She taught private oboe lessons for 7 years during high school and college. She has also been an elementary music teacher and a band director. Now she teaches oboe lessons full-time in districts ranging from Birdville ISD to Azle ISD.

When she is not teaching, Mrs. Amador enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, Phoenix the lab/australian shepherd dog and Michael the turtle. Her hobbies and interests include crochet, video games, and anime.
