Alamodome Clear Bag Policy - link
Parking - Alamodome has small lot for spectators. Most of the lots are reserved for band buses.
Public parking is available at Marriott Riverwalk garage, Grand Hyatt garage, the Marriott Rivercenter garage, Tower of the Americas and possibly the Convention Center garages. There’s also a lot by the train station which is next to the Alamodome. All within walking distance. See UIL map for parking suggestions this link. Other - After the performance, it is tradition for our parents to meet the students outside the dome on the southeast corner after we take our big photo. When the students exit the dome, we only have 25 minutes to load the truck and props before they are expected to leave the lot. This means you have enough time for a hug and photo. We have to move out of the zone quickly or UIL could penalize our group.
Parents are not allowed to take their student away from the group. Our students are expected to stay with the band for the entirety of the trip.
