Ryan Rodarte
Ryan Rodarte is an accomplished auxiliary clarinetist and educator based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music Performance in Clarinet at Texas Christian University, having previously earned his Bachelor of Music Performance in Clarinet from Texas Tech University. Over the course of his study, he has trained under notable teachers including Dr. David Shea, Dr. Corey Mackey, Dr. Yi-wen Chen, and Pamelia Urban.
As an active orchestral and ensemble musician, Ryan performs as an auxiliary clarinetist with the TCU Symphony Orchestra and the Dallas Asian Winds, and serves as the bass clarinetist for the TCU Wind Symphony. His previous ensemble roles include playing 3rd clarinet and bass clarinet with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra, with whom he toured internationally in Mexico. He also served as the principal bass clarinetist for the Texas Tech University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, participating in the world premiere of Viet Cuong’s Second Nature. His performance history extends to appearances at the Rocky Ridge Music Festival, the International Clarinet Association Conference, the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Wind Symphony, and multiple featured performances at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) conference in San Antonio.
In addition to his performing career, Ryan is a dedicated music educator. He serves as a TMEA All-State Masterclass Clinician at TCU and leads clarinet lessons and masterclasses across North Texas school districts, including Keller ISD, Mansfield ISD, and Aledo ISD.
