Dominique Feather
Dominique Feather is an energetic and passionate performer and teacher in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Originally from Fairfax County, Virginia, she completed her undergraduate degrees in Clarinet Performance and Music Education with a minor in German from the University of North Texas. While at UNT, she was a member of the nationally acclaimed North Texas Wind Symphony and a field technician for the Green Brigade marching band. Dominique holds her Master of Music and Performer’s Diploma from Southern Methodist University, where she served as the graduate teaching assistant.
Dominique is an active freelance musician in the metroplex. She plays in orchestras in McKinney, Southlake, and Tyler. She has performed and recorded with many acclaimed musicians, including the Barcelona Clarinet Players, Kimberly Cole Luevano, David Childs, and Mark Ford. She can be heard on the UNT Wind Symphony’s latest CD recordings, entitled Respair and Closure. Dominique’s teachers include Stephen Ahearn, Phillip Pagliolanga, and Daryl Coad.
When she is not practicing, Dominique enjoys reading, cooking, and singing off-key with her husband Kyle.
