Bailey sandt

Bailey Sandt was born and raised in North Texas, where she graduated from Prosper High School. Most recently, Ms. Sandt has completed her student teaching at Wylie High School and Cooper Junior High in Wylie ISD. She is very excited to begin her first year teaching at Trinity Springs Middle School!

Ms. Sandt graduated as a University Scholar with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. She studied Horn with Dr. Charles Gavin and Conducting with Dr. David Campo, Dr. Tamey Anglley, and Christopher Kaatz. During her time at SFA, Ms. Sandt served as a Mellophone Section Leader and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Lumberjack Marching Band. In addition to being involved with the marching band for four seasons, she was a member of the Horn choir, Orchestra of the Pines, Wind Symphony, and Wind Ensemble. Ms. Sandt was also a member of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps for the 2018 season.

Ms. Sandt’s professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmaster’s Association, Young Band Directors of Texas, Pi Kappa Lambda, and Kappa Kappa Psi. Outside of teaching, Ms. Sandt enjoys crafting, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and running with her dog, Bravo.
